Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd started her combat sports career at the age of 14. She was trained in boxing, kickboxing BJJ and wrestling before completing her first amateur appearance at 18 in WCFC in a fight against Jaimee Nievera. Ladd later went on to win three fights consecutively at Ultimate Reno Combat. All her opponents were defeated within the first minute. In WCFC Ladd was able to defeat Leslie Rodriguez with a unanimous decision. Aspen was able to defeat Silvia Babaeghian, and Maddy Simmons before fighting Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9. Cynthia defeated Aspen by unanimous decision. This put a stain on Ladd's amateur record. Ladd bounced back from her defeat and defeated Roma Pawelek, taking her record to eight-one. Aspen was a professional when she entered the ranks in the year 2015. Aspen signed with Invicta FC and made her debut. Invicta 11 saw her slay Ana Carolina Vidal to score an KO early in the round. Invicta Fc16 was Aspen's first bout as a bantamweight. She defeated Amanda Cooper with an armbar in the second round. Aspen utilized her superior wrestling skills to defeat McGill in third round TKO. Aspen took on Jessica Hoy, at Invicta FC 18. She fought Hoy in the catchweight (138.1lb) since Ladd did not make weight. Aspen still dominated Hoy and was able to knock her out in the 2nd round via TKO. Invicta FC 21, she took her victory in the final bout of the promotion via a unanimous vote. Aspen Ladd was the first UFC fighter to debut. She faced Linalansberg during UFC Fight Night 118. She outclassed Lina and ground-and-pounded her in the second round to secure a TKO victory. Ladd remained in the lead as she picked up another victory over Tonya Avinger at UFC 229 with her next fight. Ladd finished Evinger in the opening round. She also received a performance of the night bonus. Sijara Eubanks from Invicta FC was her opponent for the rematch that took place at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against Lee. It was the fighter's first major match. Ladd, who won the unanimous decision after an intense back and forth battle with the fighters got her Fight of the Night bonuses. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie beat Ladd in just 16 seconds, putting an end to her winning streak. Yana Knitskaya in the UFC 7 ESPN 7's 3rd round, was defeated by Randamie. She took on Norma Dumont as a substitute in her last fight with the UFC in UFC Fight Night 195. Her defeat was decided by unanimous decision.
