Allison Pregler Bio
Allison Pregler is an avid film critic who reviews Z-graded films, mostly in the martial arts or horror types. Her style of review and methodology are similar to that of The Cinema Snob. However, she tends towards stupid action movies that have a twisted fascination. The reviews began at the end of 2009 and, following her rise to fame (under the old name Obscurus-Lupa) Allison Pregler was part of the family at Channel Awesome. She remained on the site until mid-2015 in the year that Obscurus Lupa Presents was transformed into Movie Nights. She has two podcasts co-hosted and covering Charmed. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. The show can be seen here and here. Her Twitter account, Tumblr page and Facebook account are also home to videos. Allison has got you wanting to know more? You can see her kicking her thighs in the role of Interpol ninja Cheetah Lee from Ninja the Mission Force. Brad Jones' Jesus Bro! She appeared as well. She began in late 2009 to write reviews of films and began to gain a following on Channel Awesome's Channel Awesome forums. She then became a part of the family of network movie critics. She has appeared in countless Channel Awesome series, from Atop the Fourth Wall through Phelous & the Movies.
